After nearly 14 years of operating our little venue in Kloof, originally as Andreottis and for the last seven years as Zest with our brothers Christopher and Jason, Catherine and I have decided to move on.
Come July 31, we will turn off the pizza oven, switch off the gas, put away our order pads and take the chill off the wines.
Encouragement has always come from the press through fair and honest review, our fellow restauranteurs who shared camaraderie and from our respective families enduring the hours away from home following our passion.
We would also like to pass our heartfelt thanks to our clients, loyal staff and suppliers, without whom we would not have been inspired to serve the memorable meals we have.
For July we will serve a collection of the dishes you have come to love over the years – a retrospective Best of Zest menu, a culinary look at how we evolved, and of course some dishes that have remained as true to us, as we have to them.
